As the pictures show there are some cracks, the legs & stand have been reattached and there are some chips. The whistle works great. The space where the headdress attaches to the face is NOT a crack and the headdress is secure not loose. Final pieces from the estate of a long time collector. Alot of his collection went to Bonhams for auction. Collector had pieces from all over the world. Unfortunately we do not have a period to attribute this piece too but believe it to be from Central / South America. The whistle is still very beautiful and unique even with the repaired damage. The green on bottom of the feet and stand is from putty used to secure whistle to shelf to prevent falls that would cause more breaks.Other items from this estate recently sold on ebay were authenticated as very old.
