It is quite different from other varieties of Kuba raffia textiles. The field is triangles of barkcloth in contrasting shades. The borders have elaborate geometric patterns with raised work. The edges have elaborate overcast stitching. The condition of this piece is good. There are small holes and seams that need to be restitched. Old and used.
