Description
-------------------------------------------------------------- Auction Item Description -------------------------------------------------------------- This is a very nice SINGLE one SPIKED BRACELET in the style of the Kuchi Tribe of Southeast Afghanistan and Northwest Pakistan (Pashtunistan) It would be great for BELLY DANCE, Tribal Dance, or wearing to that special Tribal Party or event!. . . . Earlier this year we were lucky enough to get a few pairs of VERY RARE antique tribal Spiked Bracelets in SILVER, and have asked our office in Peshawar to continue to keep their eye out for more, as we would take them even one pair at a time...as many as they can find. The Antique Silver bracelets, in addition to being quite rare, are expensive; they each sold for over $400 a pair. Before we sold the antique pairs in the spring, we gave one pair to an Artisan Metalworker in Peshawar, and asked him to duplicate the design in a lower cost metal, gillet... I am now very happy to have received 30 of these excellent Artist Reproductions, and am able to offer them at less than 1/4 the cost of the antiques, making them more accessible to a greater number of dancer's budgets... They are very well detailed, and weigh very little, just like the originals....I am sure you will love them! The Kuchi are a tribe of Sunni Muslim Nomads living in central asia, in southeastern Afghanistan to the border of Pakistan. While the Kuchi are of the Pashtun tribe of Afghanistan, they are nomadic, accustomed to moving annually with their herds between summer pastures in Afghanistan and winter pastures in Pakistan. "Kuchi" is a Baluchistan word meaning "nomadic" or "wandering". -------------------------------------------------------------- Payment Methods -------------------------------------------------------------- Sales only by MC/Visa/Amex (using PayPal), or Money Order (shipped immediately) or Check (held for 7 days). If you choose to pay with a money order or check, just ignore the PayPal invoice, ok? ::smile:: Also, if you order several items we will send a combined PayPal invoice so you can pay all at once, with combined shipping charges! ... Thanks!! -------------------------------------------------------------- Shipments to USA and APO addresses -------------------------------------------------------------- Buyer pays $5 for USPS 2 Day Priority Mail to USA or APO addresses. Note that you may add other items from our auction offerings at NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGE! -------------------------------------------------------------- International Shipments -------------------------------------------------------------- International shipments are actual cost only, no markup, no handling charges!...Unfortunately, with the 14May07 USA Postal service rate changes, they eliminated the smaller $5 fixed rate pack....sorry!...so, now the least expensive way is the larger $11 fixed rate pack....the good news is that we can fit more in it...up to 300 coins, or some coins and some other things....we will always try to combine items to get the best rate on shipping for you. ::smile:: -------------------------------------------------------------- Click to see Our Authentic TRIBAL Items (Kuchi, Waziri, Banjara, Kutch, Turkoman, Naga, Bastar...etc) -------------------------------------------------------------- Click HERE, then look for the Categories (Departments) on the left !!!
